Eligibility Criteria for NEET 2025

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 17 years as of 31 December 2025.
  • No upper age limit as per NMC guidelines.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.
  • Minimum 50% marks (General category), 40% (SC/ST/OBC-NCL), and 45% (PwBD candidates) in PCB subjects.

  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)
  • Foreign Nationals (subject to conditions set by respective institutions)

Steps to Apply Online

  1. Visit the official websiteneet.nta.nic.in
  2. Register with a valid email ID and phone number.
  3. Fill the application form with personal, educational, and exam center details.
  4. Upload required documents (Photograph, Signature, Category Certificate, etc.).
  5. Pay the application fee through Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
  6. Download and print the confirmation page.

Dress Code

  • Wear light clothes with half sleeves.

NEET 2025 Results & Counselling

Result Declaration

  • Results will be available on neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Candidates can download their scorecard using their application number and password.

Merit List & Tie-Breaking Criteria

  • Higher marks in Biology.
  • Higher marks in Chemistry.
  • Fewer incorrect answers.

Counselling Process

  • All India Quota (15%) – Conducted by MCC (Medical Counselling Committee).
  • State Quota (85%) – Conducted by respective state authorities.
  • Seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, Central Universities, and Deemed Universities will be filled based on NEET ranks.
