LLM Admission Qualification
- Any graduate in Law with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from Gauhati University or any other university or institution recognized by Gauhati University.
LLM Admission Reservation
- Relaxation: Candidates from SC/ST/OBC/MOBC categories (permanent residents of Assam) enjoy a 5% relaxation.

- An application fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) is to be paid online.
Syllabus and Course Details
LLM Online Apply Procedure
New applicants must register on the Admission Portal before filling out the application form. The link for the registration on the admission portal is given below:
- Click on the New Registration tab.
- Read the Important Instruction section before registering on the portal.
- The student registration form requires correct details.
- Add the Full Name of the Applicant in the Applicant’s Full Name.
- Add Date of Birth in the format of Day, Month, and Year.
- Enter the correct Mobile Number and email ID of the applicant.
- Set your account password in Enter Password.
- Enter Captcha for verification
- Click on Register.
- An OTP will be sent to the registered Email ID. Enter the OTP.
- After this the account has been successfully registered.
- Once done, a success message will be displayed. You may now login using your Roll Number and
the password you just created.
ï‚· After registering on the Portal, the applicant must login to his/her registered account on the
portal (https://gauhatiadmission.samarth.edu.in/) to complete the online application form
submission process by following the steps outlined below:
 In Step 01, complete your profile details
 In Step 02, choose the programme you are applying for
 In Step 03, pay the prescribed fee online and submit the application
Essential Points
- a) Applicants are required to apply online ONLY.
- b) Each applicant must scan his/her photograph and signature, ensuring that both the photograph and signature comply with the required specifications as mentioned in the upload section of the online application process.
- c) Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
- d) Keep all the necessary details/documents/certificates ready for the documents upload section and a successful online payment of the application fee is required to submit an online Application Form.
- e) Applicants must have a valid personal email ID and contact number, which should be kept active till the completion of this admission process. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/mention e-mail ID to/of any other person. In case an applicant does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying online and must maintain that email account.
